Ever since 911. . .everytime I look at the clock I see the numbers 11:11, what does this number mean?

I've been seeing it for over 10 yrs now. Then last year put in the search on yahoo and got scared to death. Basically its letting you know Angels are surrounding you and they are trying to communicate with you.....think of it like Constantine those half angels, half humans. I am a Christian so it is especially difficult to have read that as it is not mentioned in the bible. I know I quickly dismissed the other page by some wacko who says there is a invisible door in outer space and some other crap. The 2 weirdest instances I could say when it happened is when I paid for my groceries and the bill came to $11.11 and more recently when I was behind someone in public someone asked her what time it was I had no watch on and someone told her its 11mins past 11.

Okay...I don't necessarily believe this, but I typed in "1111" into Google, and this is what came up:

To be frank, it is all in your head. There is no mystical force drawing you to that number, it is the brain's effort to form order from chaos.

A friend and I once had an ongoing joke that we were being "haunted" by the number 34. It started when an odd occurrence happened at 11:34, which upside-down reads "hell". After that, it seemed every street we turned on was 34th, and every time we looked at the clock it was 34 after the hour.

But I stopped it because I knew 34 was not actually more common than any other number I see, it's just that it is the only number that I was consciously keeping track of.

Just imagine if you thought a SINGLE-digit number was following you, like the number 2 for example. You would never be able to escape it!

Edit: Hyde (below) sees 420 for the same reason. It holds additional meaning for him, while other numbers do not. That's why the manifestation of 420 is the only number he acknowledges in daily life.

I don't think it really means anything. Just that you always wonder what time it is a 11:11.
Ever since my grandma died on December 12, 2004, I often find myself looking at the clock at 12:12. I usually find it oddly comforting.... but in reality, it's just numbers. I just gave it a meaning for myself.

I often see the time 12:34. As in 1, 2, 3, 4.

You could chalk it up to a concidence or you could reserach numbers and what they mean. Something like the number 7 being a very positive number and the number 13 being a very unlucky number.

Or add up all the numbers, it means 4. This is a very good round solid number.

The best bet would be to play some lottery though.

I think it is significant. I'm interested in the other responses who said it is, too. In numerology, 11 is a master number, and a number of hardship and sacrifice. That's all I know about it, but I think there might be more to it, too.
