You would have to check with your local home school organization/group.
If none is available in your area, contact your state organization, they will have a list of all home school coordinators; they will be able to give you a contact number.
If you do not know the number of the state organization contact the Home School Legal Defense at http://www.hslda.org they will have a list of all state home school groups.
Not all state or local organizations hold prom's or graduations though; we have parent boards/volunteers who do so each year.

Usually homeschoolers can go to the prom held by what would be their feeder high school (the high school they probably would have attended if they had gone to public school). I would suggest contacting your local high school and/or the superintendent's office for the public school system in your area. Another suggest is go to Homeschooling A to Z's website which posts homeschool prom information, but if A to Z is not informed about the prom happening A to Z might not post it. The link to A to Z's website on proms is http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/articles/102303.htm
Good Luck!!!

All the answers so far are good. But If you haven't tried taking classes or a class at any high school, do all what your answers said. it's better to kind of incorporate your self in one of the regular school if you are being homeschool so that when time like this comes, and you wanted to attend a prom night, you will not be a stranger. Some kids join or do PE at a regular school. Or they list them selves as an athlete. Private or public schools are accepting applications on that area. Or do bible study, that would certainly be benefitting. But you have to act now.

You should call the high school in the district you would be attending were you not homeschooled. Usually the school will let you attend their prom.

Start by searching Yahoo Groups for a support group in your area. That's how I found mine.

Call your City Hall. Explain what you need. Someone there will know to whom to refer you.
