Cosmology, geology, anything having to do with radioactive dating, etc?

In particular, I see a lot of questions about cosmology addressed to "evolutionists" -- weird, huh?

Kent Hovind's $250,000 challenge included abiogenesis, cosmology, and a bunch of other stuff. I'm not sure if others conflating evolution with a bunch of other scientific theories predates that, but I notice that a lot of answerers pull from drdino.com, so that may be the source of it.

In reality, no.

Basically, different Creationists have different methods. Some will try to make-up "scientific" proof that they are right, some will build £28m "museums" in an attempt to convince visitors.

Then you get those who don't know enough to proove themselves to be correct so they try to smear anything they see as competition. What you're talking about relates to criticism over creationism being in public schools. The argument, which is spot on, is that creationism is a religious belief and teaching it as fact would be deemed as promoting a religion and is therefore illegal under the 1st Constitutional ammendment.

The way these creationists are fighting back is by claiming that evolution is a belief which they call Evolutionism (a non-word in reality as it isn't a belief) and all the fields of study you've mentioned that threaten creationism are either part of Evolutionism or are just propaganda to strengthen it.

Obviously it's a load of nonsense. Anyone who uses the argument that any of those are beliefs of "evolutionists" are clearly delusional and can be ignored in actual intelectual debate.

I think the reason creationists do this is because they are addressing everyone of a scientific view that they don't agree with as if evolution is a religion and cosmology, geology, anything having to do with radioactive dating, etc, are all the dogmatic views of the religion of evolution.I think that creationists are just incapable of thinking outside of religion and so they simplify everything as religion and belief.Personally, I could never understand how anyone could take it on faith that God exists without proof but can't believe something that has become more and more proved over time. But again, it is all just part of the ego of arrogance that drives creationists to lump all science as part of evolution. They just don't get science.

Those familiar with Fuzzy (me) knows how single minded I support the Bible's creation.

However, according to your question, I guess all of a sudden I have become an evolutionist. -- not in this lifetime mate!

See creation page for how the creation "myth" may be understood. It is as valid as any of what you got.

For your own sake, skip the first two paragraphs since you probably do not like to read about God.

It's funny. When it comes to knowledge, human knowledge in particular, you really need to think of it like and ant verses the world. Our knowledge is the size of an ant compared to this world, even this universe. Yet many of you are so darn certain that you have all the answers. For instance, you are so sure that creation is a myth. How is that? I'd keep studying if I were you.

It would seem that geology was a field created to support evolution even though it predated it by a long time.

The six day creation was true and is not a myth

Science itself contradicts that creation myth, not just distinct fields.

Just shows how little they really know, yeah? I think we'd have a lot less questions like those if they'd just go attend some college lectures.
