I want to drive as soon as possible. I was born in 92 i heard they changed the law, and now i wont be able to drive until i am eighteen. that would really suck, i was excited to start classes and be able to drive legally when i was sixteen. does anyone know if this law was made, and when i can start driving legally.

No, the law has not passed as far as I know. There has been several changes in the rules for minor drivers over the years (hours they can drive, passengers, etc), but these vary from state to state. You can apply for your permit and license, they can always tell you no.
Farm kids as young as 14 can drive themselves to school and back home in some states.
