In comparison to the northern hemisphere, Perth has only mild winters, with a sprinkling of cold.

Perth has a mild winter, actually to correct an earlier answer, we had a temperature of -0.8 last June which is the lowest ever temperature

It depends where you are coming from I suppose as to what you are used to.
I'm from NZ and to be honest, I don't find it that cold at all, 3 degrees over here (Perth) is considerably more comfortable than that of 3 degrees when you are used to living next door to a snowy mountain!

Greetings.
I've lived here for 3yrs. From my point of view. It's generally Mild, (a jumper maybe needed, to wear or take with you. a jacket needed if at the beach very windy, mostly sunny days, some cold nights (above real freezing point). It has a medium -low rainfall,occasionally heavy rain.
Mainly a few fine sunny or partly cloudy days 3-4 in a row..Lots of chances to visit places of interest.It doesn't snow here..

cod nights 3- 10 deg day time usally ok not alot of rain at the moment daytime 18- 25ish depends what you class as cold

i can be a little chilly...so rug up and keep warm, when the sun is out its not too bad
