Anyone ever heard of a lanscape artist called Barrington Brumby?

painted a picture called 'Six at Salisbury' depicting boys playing cricket in front of Salisbury Cathedral

Unfortunately, Mr. Brumby has never attained any fame or notoriety as an artist. I'm sure someone somewhere has heard of him, but not in the context of a famous artist.

The name is familiar...but I remember it being a fictional character. Can not find anything on him.
