I was surprised that she got to the top 5 after that slip. Too much of politics for me. I would rather see Miss Tanzania in top 5, but not Miss USA.

HA I think I heard a lil boo for him but they were quick to change pace and not let it brew like they did for miss u.s. I understand that they were upset cause Miss Mexico did not make it but you have to understand they base this off of a point system and there are many judges. Yes, miss u.s.a. may have fell but she rose gracefully.
and Donald trump should have maybe done some kind of survey or something to see what the people there thought about bringing the pageant or at least considered all the politics. I really don't think the U.S. would boo a girl who had nothing to do with it... i was really happy when the crowd tried to over cheer the boos.
as everyone was talking about this, just made me think of how much those people booing were not judging HER but their opinions in politics.
regardless, trumps hair was a total success as always! lol

I agree that they should have other judges from around the world. I think that is what Miss World does and they always do very well picking Miss World without being so biased. I am tired of Miss USA always being in the top 5 or 10. It is not fair to the other contestants at all and I am from the US saying this. I think this pageant is only about politics and it is not fair to anyone including miss usa that was booed. This girl did so much for people overseas and if you want to boo, do it for those people who deserve it in the U.S. like Bush and not innocent girls from the pageant who have nothing to do with the politics of her country.

I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago (located in the Caribbean). However, I do live in the U.S at present, and I have noticed that mostly every Miss Universe or non-Miss Universe pageant or event held always incorporates someone from the U.S.A. I find this particularly biased in a way. Haven't you people realized that the majority of judges in the Miss Universe pageant are actual born and raised AMERICANS? I'm NOT talking about race here, because EVERY country in this world IS multi-racial. No country in this world is completely homogeneous. I consider any raced person who is born and raised in America, to be 100% American and nothing else! Anyway, my point is that there were other more deserving girls in the top ten, such as Miss INDIA, who did not make it into the top 5. To tell you the truth, I believe that Miss India deserved to be in Miss U.S.A's place. But you know how it goes, if the majority of judges were of American nationality, then it's obvious that they'd be a bit biased towards their own Miss U.S.A.
I suggest that in future competitions, the Miss Universe organization should appoint judges not just from the U.S or Latin America, but rather from the REST OF THE WORLD. I mean seriously, how many times have you ever seen one of the judges to be of Indian, Chinese, Russian, Australian, English, or Moroccan nationalities? Almost always there are only American and a few scattered international judges! So Go figure. Now you must know why Miss U.S.A made it to the top 5.

By the way, i'm mexican and Mr. Trump loved the mexican host City Don't you see? This was planned from vey long time ago, this scandal was just perfect to put again Miss Universe at the spot light again.
Mexico will be host country in the future, you can be sure about it, we were a great host city.
Ask to rest of the contestants how they enjoy Mexico, including the New Miss Universe from Japan, she said she wants to move to Mexico in the future years.

I didn't notice if the audience booed Donald Trump but I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they probably did.
And yes, I truly was surprised that the audience booed Miss USA. I even commented to my mom about that.

they can boo whoever the hell they want its their country but i doubt donald trump would think about bringing the pageant back to mexico....there's no excuse acting like a bunch of kids....it seems like they turned it into a political issue...show some respect for the girl she had nothing to do with whatever is going on with respect to immigration....they wanna boo usa but they sure as hell wont turn down a free ride to citizenship if they had the chance

I don't care if it's in Mexico. It makes me ashamed to be Mexican when those Mexicanos act like that. Just shutup and don't applaud if you hate the U.S. so much. Jesus Christ.
