There is a man that lives on the 15th floor of an apartment building?

He takes the elevator to the tenth and walks the last 5 flights....why?

He is trying to be fit, thats why he walks up the last 5 flight of stairs, if not, its just a habit. Just like the year when my housing block had lift going up to every floor, but i still walk down 1 flight of stairs, ha ha, coz the elavator usually stops at 10th floor, i live at 9th.

there's also the part of the riddle that says when its raining he takes the elevator all the way to the fifteenth floor....he uses his umbrella to push the button.

That doesn't make much sense- but if nothing else, he gets his exercise. Perhaps he can't see some of the numbers and needs glasses? In any case, it's harming no one so no need to sweat it.

if he was a midget, and he cannot press the button. but he can jump up,,i think if he can jump up, he can reach the button. so i think he made a mistake.( sometimes i will do the same)
