Creating My Own Guide (Karma Sutra, Workout, etc...)?

I want to create my own guide. I had this ebook = sexual mastery which was good, but i wasn't fully happy with it.

I had bought many of the ebooks and i was planning to make my guide where i can use the best bits from each ebooks.

Also while making a guide from my articles and ebooks i aslo want to change my header and footer and headings and put pictures in the background.

1. what programs do i need?
2. where can i find a guide to show me how to do all these things?

You should be able to do all of this with Microsoft Word. Probably all you need is a good handbook for Word. Don't bother with the "for Idiots" or "for Dummies" series. What you want is the sort that is used by real schools to teach the details.
