what does it matter what came first
water came or came thirst,
after every day there is a night,
when night passes the sun brings light,
after the sun its turn of moon light
to brighten your spirits fast
after a hot day lasts,
when the nights are dark and bad
you feel depressed and very sad
then comes the days full of mirth!
both are important on this earth!
don't worry which came first and which was after,
both are sometimes tearful and often full of laughter!!

Well if you mean day as in light and night as in darkness darkness was first. But since you said Day and Night in Genisis it says that day was created first I believe. I'm not so sure but like 85% sure. Day- Light, Night- Darkness are not the same just so you know Sakura Ann Marie.

night, b/c the new day start at 12pm which is a night time...
so therefore i would say night came first....

I believed NIGHT. Because in the creation ... Genesis, God created lighted so before He created it the world was full of darkness so it's night time...

which part of the earth are you talking about ?
It was actually surprising to see that God had fooled most of the men.
He was actually sitting in Japan with a bunch of people just before early morning and said " Let there be light " ...
Sun rises....!!!
Twelve hours later, he then quickly jumps to North America , and says the same thing again...!!!
" Let there be light !!! "
