Eat less, exercise.

Swimming is a good exercise for those who don't like to work out, it gives a full body workout.

If you're looking to lose more than 20lbs I would suggest Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover. It includes exercises and easy menu. You can lose weight fast on this program and not gain double the weight back because it's not a crash diet. It's on Ebay for cheaper than buying direct. If you can afford to spend a few hundred dollars on a program and don't have a lot of time to plan meals then Jenny Craig is great, and so is the food and support you get from your own local consultant. I have a friend that's doing Jenny Craig now and she's usually very picky and procrastinating with dieting but she loves Jenny Craig. There is a Jenny Craig coupon for free food on Celebrity Fit Club's Kimberly Locke myspace page.

If you're looking to lose less than 20lbs then just cut back on carbs like bread, pasta, sugar, sweets etc and instead of rice, oatmeal and fruit. Similar programs are Atkins Phase 2 (not the strict part 1), and South Beach diet. You can still have chocolate and wine on both. YUMMMM!!! :-)

When trying to lose weight, it's important to set goals (realistic ones). Try to work on losing 1-2 pounds per week for example.

Avoid eating junk food and fast foods by all means (they are high in fat!). Eat fresh fruits as a healthy alternative. Also, be sure to exercise four about 30 - 60 mins a day. Count calories if you can.

there are foods and supplements to go with your diet that can help you lose weight. For more information and tips, visit http://www.realhomeremedies.com . Click on the weight loss link on the left.

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Most important thing is to change your lifestyle.
Means you need to adjust your eating habits and other things you have been doing.

Second thing you need to do is get some type of support system. Such as a friend with similar goals. That way you can help motivate one another.

All diets help you lose weight. The problem comes when you can' keep the weight off.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

It's very simple. Do plenty of exercises everyday, eat healthy food, eat lots of fruits and green veggies, drink tons of fluids... follow all these stuff in a routine way and see the difference after some period.
