Two weeks is the recommended amount of time between any chemical service. Make sure that you are using a good shampoo and conditioner. The absolute best product on the market right now that is used by licensed professionals as well as the average consumer is AVEDA's new line for damaged hair. It's called Damage Remedy. They have the shampoo with the conditioner AND the deep penetrating treatment. If you use all three of the products in conjunction you will DEFINATELY get the results you are looking for.....healthy, strong, shiny hair. You can purchase at an aveda salon or any salon retailing aveda products. Good Luck!! :)

Perming your hair just sent it through the ringer... it is damaged even if it is not noticable. Now you want to lighten it, doing more intense damage?
A perm is a chemical reaction that restructures your hair from the inside out, it may not affect the pigmentation (color) of your hair. Your hair is like a pencil, the lead in the center of that pencil is your hair's natural pigment. When you lighten your hair, that pigment is removed. This can weaken your hair, cause breakage, make it frizzy, dry it out and it will be more prone to further damage.
Having said this, seek the advice of the salon pro that permed your hair. They know your hair best and will recommend a process that will do the least damage. Do not attempt to lighten yout hair on your own, it can be a disaster resulting in orange hair, melted or broken hair, or even hair loss.
Please, go back and ask your salon pro, in person. No one online will ever be able to answer this question better than the person who does your hair on a regular basis.

Perming your hair is already damaging enough. You should wait at least 3 months for your cuticles to recover before colouring it. Coulouring it may dry your hair even further.
Great to see you are experimenting with your hair, but keep the hair dyeing later.

i would say 3-4 wks so that the chemicals won't interact and weaken your hair and cause breakage. it also depends on the conditon of your hair before and after you permed it (ie. healthy or weak with breakage). i would ask a stylist just to make sure. good luck!

no perms are way more damaging to your hair than dying it. if you dye it your hair will be dried out, frizzy, and just feel disgusting. i suggest not doing it

omg sweetie you are looking fwd to some serious damage if you dont have it already.... Get a deep conditioner/ keratin amino acid rinse to help keep your hair in good shape. I reccomend Joico or Ojon. If you must go blonde then PLEASE go to a hairdresser otherwise you will have brass worse than Beyonce. Hugs

Yes two weeks is the limit so you should be ready to get it dyed. You could have gotten a semi color the same day. Good luck. Hope I helped.
