Because they are ignorant of the truth and don't want to hear it.

Christians take Jesus' (PBUH) sayings completely out of context and make him God, they are all worshippers of a false God and will be judged accordingly on Judgement Day.

I would concentrate on my own faith rather than throw ridicule at others. How are you so sure you are following the true religion of God? If you call yourself a Muslim, I can guarantee you that you have no clue what a Muslim is and what faith is.

If you can answer me those questions, I'll be very surprised.

Accept Jesus as the Messiah and Messenger of God and accept that the Bible has been tampered with.

John 5:25
"And I assure you that the time is coming, in fact it is here, when the dead will hear my voice--the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live."
John 6:35-40
Jesus replied" I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me will ever be hungry again. Those who believe in me will never thirst. But you haven't believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do what I want. And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them to eternal life at the last day. For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life--that I should raise them at the last day."
John 6:26-27
Jesus replied," The truth is you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you saw the miraculous sign. But you shouldn"t be so concerned about perishable things like food.Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that I, the Son of Man, can give you. For God the Father has sent me for that very purpose."

Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to her "the holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you, therefore, also, that Holy One who is born will be called the Son of God"

He called God (FATHER) what else could he be..
The demons knew he was the Son of God:
Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
These people knew he was the Son of God
Mat 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

The people heard him say he was the Son of God
Mat 27:43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

Besides those scriptures quoted, there's John 10:31-36:

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

The answer's more simple than one'd think: we are raised to believe so. And once we're old enough to investigate and study scripture for ourselves, we only see what we want to see.

People can cite bible passages all they want; even the most distinguished of scholars take every historical document they read with a grain of salt, always considering context, purpose, and etymology.

All in all, it is usually at this stage in "faith" that your average Christian comes at a crossroads.

Why does no one do research before they post a question?

Jesus own statements:

John 5:25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.

John 10:36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God's Son'?

John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."

John 17:1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you."

Mark 14:61-62 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?" "I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Verses where Jesus indirectly claims to be the Son of God (or God)
Matthew 11:27 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

John 8:58-59 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

Verses where Jesus allows other to call him the Son of God (or God)
Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

Matthew 4:3-7 The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Jesus answered, "It is written: `Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: "`He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'" Jesus answered him, "It is also written: `Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

John 1:49-50 Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." Jesus said, "You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You shall see greater things than that."

Matthew 16:15-17 "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."

John 11:25-27 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."

John 20:28 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Actually, I believe that Jesus calls God his father, and He makes it clear that He is God in human form, like when He said I am what I am, which although doesn't sound like any sort of declaration to us, the Jewish people of the time would have recognized it as what God said to Moses.

Jesus refers to God as His Father and at Jesus' baptism God said "This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased."
