God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all one...it sounds confusing but here's an example......you have an egg, from the outside it looks like just one object, which is what God is, he's ONE being, but taking a closer look at the egg you see it has three parts, the shell, the white of the egg, and the yolk....yet it is just ONE egg, the same with the three identities of God...he's the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit, they are together yet separate....don't ask me how he does it but God is almighty and there's nothing that's impossible for him, he does things that are totally unfathomable by man....

You can't, but you can be the Son of God.
‘But isn’t Jesus called a god in the Bible?’ someone may ask. This is true. Yet Satan is also called a god. (2 Corinthians 4:4) At John 1:1, which refers to Jesus as “the Word,” some Bible translations say: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” But notice, verse 2 says that the Word was “in the beginning with God.” And while men have seen Jesus, verse 18 says that “no man hath seen God at any time.” (Authorized or King James Version) So we find that some translations of verse 1 give the correct idea of the original language when they read: “The Word was with God, and the Word was divine,” or was “a god,” that is, the Word was a powerful godlike one. (An American Translation) Clearly, Jesus is not Almighty God. In fact, Jesus spoke of his Father as “my God” and as “the only true God.”
Did Jesus ever say that he was God? No, he never did. Rather, in the Bible he is called “God’s Son.” And he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” Also, Jesus explained that there were some things that neither he nor the angels knew but that only God knew. (Mark 13:32) Further, on one occasion Jesus prayed to God, saying: “Let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If Jesus were the Almighty God, he would not have prayed to himself, would he? In fact, following Jesus’ death, the Scripture says: “This Jesus God resurrected.” (Acts 2:32) Thus the Almighty God and Jesus are clearly two separate persons. Even after his death and resurrection and ascension to heaven, Jesus was still not equal to his Father.
As for the “Holy Spirit,” the so-called third Person of the Trinity, this is not a person but God’s active force. John the Baptizer said that Jesus would baptize with holy spirit, even as John had been baptizing with water. Hence, in the same way that water is not a person, holy spirit is not a person. (Matthew 3:11) What John foretold was fulfilled when, following the death and resurrection of Jesus, holy spirit was poured out on his followers gathered in Jerusalem. The Bible says: “They all became filled with holy spirit.” (Acts 2:4) Were they “filled” with a person? No, but they were filled with God’s active force. Thus the facts make clear that the Trinity is not a Bible teaching. Actually, long before Jesus walked the earth gods were worshiped in groups of three, or trinities, in places such as ancient Egypt and Babylon.

Again, "gotquestions.org" to the rescue... here is the beginning of their explanation of the concept of Jesus, Son of God...
Jesus is not God’s Son in the sense of how we think of a father and a son. God did not get married and have a son. Jesus is God’s Son in the sense that He is God made manifest in human form (John 1:1,14). Jesus is God's Son in that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:35 declares, "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'" In Bible times, the phrase “son of man” was used to describe a human being. The son of a man is a man.

An external God is an imaginary friend for adults and another boogey man for children.
"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it."
We live in a story God created to pass eternity. God is a fantasy writer! As characters in God's story we are part of god in a holographic way where each part contains the whole because the whole contains each part. Why do bad things happen to good people? It advances the plot. Why does science make new discoveries all the time? To fill in the holes in the internal logic of the story. Time? Just a way to keep the "pages" in order.

apostle john (disciple of Jesus) stated at 1 john 4:9: "...God sent forth his only-begotten Son into the world that we might gain life through him."
matthew 3:17 "...there was a voice from the heavans that said: "this is my Son, the beloved, whom i have approved."
during his "Sermon on the Mount", Jesus stated, at matthew 7:21: "not everyone saying to me 'Lord, Lord," will enter into the kingdom of the heavans, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavans will."
as far as the trinity, there are versus in the bible that could mean a trinity, but in plain english (like the scriptures above) the trinity was never mentioned this plainly. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were mentioned many times in connection with their specific purposes and personages and rarely as the same INDIVIDUAL. if God and Jesus were the same, who raised him up if he killed himself on the stake? look it up for yourself...

Because the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Messenger of God and His Word is Not GOD. He is a Messenger of God and is not dead and will return to the earth at the appointed time to teach Mankind the true religion once more.
Mankind will reject him and God will do to us what we don't want to be around to see or experience.

Ahhhh...the timeless question of the trinity. It's a mystery that will never make total sense while we are still on earth, but this is as close as we can get. This is the way my Bible teacher explained it, and it makes a lot of sense to me.
I am a daughter, sister, and niece. I am still only one person, but I am 3 different things
God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is still God, but he is also three different things at the same time

He is not the son of himself. :o)
There is ONE God and ONE God only..within the ONE and ONLY God there are THREE seperate individuals: Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit (aka the Comforter) and COMBINED these THREE individuals make up the ONE and ONLY God and they all work TOGETHER for the salvation of mankind.
Jesus is GOD -The Father is GOD - The Holy Spirit is GOD - and they are 3 different , distinct and eternal individuals - COMBINED they are the ONE True God
Jesus is NOT the Father nor the Holy Spirit; the Father is not Jesus nor the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is not the Father nor Jesus ! They are 3 seperate individuals who COMBINED are the ONE and ONLY God and they all work TOGETHER for the salvation of man
So again: Jesus IS the son of God, Jesus IS God, but He is NOT the son of Himself...He is the only begotten of the FATHER.

Jesus is not Son of Himself, for God is three separate and distinct Persons. Jesus is the Son of the Father, and the Father is not Jesus, even though they are both God.
