Did it work out? How did it affect your ability to work with each other?

It depends. If you are actually working in close proximity and having to cooperate with each other, bad idea. If things don't work out, the baggage could make work very tense, to put it mildly. Save it for when one of you moves on.

I MARRIED someone I worked with. We only worked together the first 1-2 years we were together. (that was 14 years ago). I eventually changed jobs and then he changed jobs so neither of us are still with the same company. Working together kinda sucked....you need your own space. Seeing each other all day every day and then trying to date each other at night....
The worst was if we were fighting....THAT was hard. But hey - we've been together a long time and now we have two kids. So it CAN work I guess!

I dated someone at work. NO it didn't work out. Situations like this rarely do. There's always some kind of drama attached to it. Some companys even stick to the rule of NO employees dating. There's so many other women/men out there, why bother putting your work place in the middle of it. Say things go sour, then you have to look at that idiot at work 5 days a week. That would suck!

I did and you need to make sure that your personalities are compatible..if either of you is the type of person that gets angry with the other and then starts reacting badly then don't do it because if it didn't work out then you would have problems

This is a bad idea. When it doesn't work out... you probably should have another job lined up because you'll have to leave. PLUS, lots of companies have policies against this type of thing.
