Wow, amazing question! Well, first of all, you mean "why do all Muslims (and Muslim countries) speak with a bad accent?"
So let me start by saying that anyone who learns a different language will have some accent to it. There are some letters in English that aren't in other languages, ie Arabic. But, if I were to teach you Arabic, believe me, you wouldn't say the word perfectly. Why? Because you weren't born with that language, and once you become fluent in it, then maybe perhaps you won't have an accent. It all depends.
Secondly, in US itself, there are so many accents itself. There are a lot of different southern accents, ie Alabama, Texas etc....they are speaking English, aren't they?
So, basically, no, it's not weird. Be a little more mature, please.

Actaully it is not a matter of religion, rather it is a matter of language and the vocal cords of the speakers themselves...most Muslims speak Arabic language which is totally different from English as far as the phonetic system is concerned...the vocal cords that can speak Arabic properly can hardly learn to change the way of pronouncing utterances...the same applies to the languages of the Far East in which Islam is widespread...Think about it the other way round, you will find that you cannot speak Arabic,Indian or Malysian properly because your own vocal cords did not practice the sounds of those languages....Again,judge the language not the belief!

What? Thats got to be one of the craziest questions Ive heard. If you spoke a different language, then you would more than likely have an accent. Accents even vary from different parts of the U.S.
Im sure they have been taught by someone who speaks good english. And as far as your "proper" english parts go, not many people in the states use "proper" english.
You only pointed out Islamic countries, because thats all that seem to get people going today
And dont you mean "Islamic" countries, instead of muslim islam??? Ive never heard of a muslim islam country

Is this question truly about language or just a thinly veiled racist rant? I have a very strong feeling you probably won't like what I have to say, because you are just looking to vent and having others agree with you. Having taught ESL for 20 years and taught teachers how to teach ESL and speaking 8+ languages, I have a couple of questions to ask you....And a good accent would be???? (whose??) PROPER English would be??? (whose)....The ONLY purpose of learning a language (including your own) is not to speak it perfectly and accentless, it's to communicate with another human being. If the information/subject is successfully communicated and understood who gives a rodent's behind about accents. It would be so refreshing to have people not being so terribly judgemental about such a trivial thing as accents. (ps while you're at it slamming others, why don't you check out your own "proper" English writing, spelling, punctuation and capitalization)

if you tried speaking another language you'd have an accent too. and why are you stereotyping? some people who english is their second language can probably speak it better than you. and maybe, just maybe someone who speaks english properly should teach you how to spell 'accordingly'.

I bet you would have a terrible accent if you tried to speak Arabic or Urdu... BTW, I have a friend from Pakistan who speaks perfect Spanish and English with no accent whatsoever.

Who taught you? They did a bad job. Learn to spell, stop casting judgements, grow up.
