I have a document that I want to insert pages from another document into. Can I do that? And can I delete pages that are blank?
Help?!?!?!

I can copy and paste bits, but I need more pages, I have to insert about 100 throughout another 100 page document. I want the headers and footers to be taken over aswell.

I know a 200 page document is a pain, but when ur boss tells u to do something u gotta do it!!! Even if its gonna take me all day and kill me! I would print it out and then scan it back in, in the right order but they won't let me print it, cause its a waste of paper!

I don't know of a way to add pages, but you can always copy and paste.

Open both documents.
You should get tabs for both docs on the taskbar -- if not, one will show on the taskbar and you can see the other by clicking "Window" on the menu in the open document.

Go to the document from which you want to copy.
Select that which you want to copy (it will highlight)
right-click on it
choose "copy"

Go to the document in which you want to paste
cursor to the place where you want to insert
right-click
paste

To delete extra blank pages, I suggest you turn on the show/hide button. It looks like a backward P and is to the left of the percentage of page shown on the standard toolbar.
Now you can see all your end-of-paragraph marks and probably extra returns at the end of your document. Delete them.

Save your file with File, Save.
To turn off show/hide, click it.

Just saw your additional remarks -
To add another 100 pages you will just have to repeat the above.

To have the same header/footer, throughout, when you are all finished inserting, go to the top of file.
- click View
cl Header/Footer
- On the Header/Footer toolbar that will display, click the "switch between header/footer" button to switch to the footer.
- type your footer
- then, click the "show next" button on that toolbar
-----it will come to the next footer, if there is one
-----it should show whatever you typed above
-----if it is, continue to click the "show next" button
-----if you come to a footer that is different, and you want it to stay the same as that before it, click the "link to previous" button on the header/footer toolbar.

Caution: Adding 100 pages to a 100-page document is a long document. After each paste, if o.k., I would File, Save. This will save your paste to disk and free up memory.
Personally, I think you will find a 200-page document a pain in the neck. Takes longer to load, find anything, and make changes, and if you work a long time and forget to save along the way, you could run into memory problems.
