Try this diet and excersize program-

EAT BREAKFAST!!!!

there is an old saying,

eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper

Big Breakfast, medium lunch small dinner

Breakfast= fruit, 3 eggs whites, 1 piece of whole wheat whole grain light toast, milk or orange juice, coffee if you want with skim milk and 1 splenda (best artificial sugar)

lunch= turkey sandwich with a very little bit of light mayo or mustard (russian dressing is out) lettuce tomato, pickles, all the veggies you want on it!, 1 piece of fiber filled fruits (apple , anything with a skin) or nuts

dinner- grilled or baked chicken, fish (can be very lightly breaded with lemon and pepper, if it is salmon you should go with cajun spice on it!), or turkey cutlet, on a salad with a non-creamy dressing (little or none of any dressing at all), one piece of whole wheat bread with margarine or light butter.

Snacks= lowfat crackers with cheese
fiber filled foods ( granola bars light ones only!!), apples, nuts, etc.
carrots, celery, or peppers in lowfat dip

try to eat 2 or less snacks a day, at most 3

drink water and green tea (with 1 splenda or unsweetened)
you can crystal light to water

staying hydrated speeds up metabolism

green tea and green tea supplements also speed up metabolism

excersize- 1 hour, intense cardio 6 days a week, strength or resistance training (3-5 days a week, don't work the same muscle group 2 days in a row), 1 day of low intensity cardio a week

good luck, don't try to lose the weight too fast, it will only cause loss of muscle and water, lose it slower and it will be all fat ( don't slow down wight loss on purpose though)

as for the abs and love handles- crunches, leg lifts, leglift-crunch, plank, buy a swiss excersize ball and find an article on how to use it, that should work your abs and muscles known as love handle obliques.

Once again good luck!

Remember, you can do this, I'm rooting for ya!!!!

Wanting to loose 50 pounds is common amongst older folks but when i read u r 12, i felt strong urge to answer. How did u manage to gain so much weight in the first place ? The reason is very simple - your eating habits and your sedentary life style. I dont think at your age u must be unduly worried about what u eat but when u start putting on too much of weight, its a warning signal. Eat a lot but avoid chocolates and ice creams. Tell your mom (or dad) not to drop u to the school in their car. Instead try to walk ( or jog) to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus. Where ever possible walk or run ( no rides in moms car). What do u play ? Tried basketball yet? Join a club teaching basketball. Remember at your age burning that extra fat is not difficult but u gotta shake a leg and get out of your slumber. If u give me your complete daily routine i can suggest some minor but important changes which will make the life easier 4 u.

I congratulate you for wanting to become better in your health. Maintaining a healthy weight is just part of "caring for yourself". Know that it will take time. A healthy weight loss is 0-2 lbs a week - NO more. So it will take time and you'll hit times where you gain some and don't lose anything. Don't lose faith.

My suggestion is to learn about nutrition - eat balanced meals and the right portion size. Exercise combined with better eating habits will give you results. Move at least 20 minutes each day - walking is a way to do this. Over time your body will want more. Start out slow - don't try to do it everyday - over time your body will let you know when you want more.

You are also at the age where your body is going through changes (puberty), this alone can bringon some weight gain. Don't be hard on yourself.

I wish you the best of luck. You can do this, do it for yourself and you will prevail.

Don't do anything drastic. Try to exercise more, even if it is a little here and there every bit of movement counts so try and find something you enjoy. It doesn't have to be traditional exercise. If your going somewhere and you could walk or ride a bike instead of having someone drive you do that.
Also cut out sodas! There is absolutely no reason to drink soda, ever. Drink water or tea. Soda is just calories in a can. If you are thirsty water will cure it if it doesn't you were wanting the sugar or the taste, you weren't really thirsty. Also try to eat healthy. More vegetables and fruit, less processed food. At your age this is the best way to control weight. You shouldn't try any "diets".

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

relies upon on which one you're dedicated to doing! in case you have been dedicated to doing the two, i might think of that dropping weight may be extra convenient than quitting heroin! statistics say that heroin addicts do no longer likely have a stable hazard of staying off of heroin whilst they stop. the comparable is real once you lose 50 pounds(you will likely earnings some weight decrease back!) My sister has efficiently been off of heroin for 7 years. It replaced into having a daughter that became her around!

You have to lose it slowly and gradually, changing your eating and lifestyle habits permanently. If you're 12 years old your parents have help you lose weight, it's their responsibility that you're healthy, both physically and psychologically. It's also important that you lose weight under the instruction of a doctor, so talk to your parents about that. You may also need to go to a nutritionist so you can learn about which foods you need to eat to be healthy.

Good luck.
