If Al Gore wanted to be a real environmentalist, he would do the following...

1) Instead of gas-guzzling SUVs to be driven around in, how about a nice Prius-Hybrid?
2) Car-pool or rather Jet-Pool. He should take commerical airlines and fly with "common folk".

If you think so, that is your opinion but no matter what he really is, would you want someone talking about you like that? What did Al Gore ever do to you?

As a state senator in TN he voted to cut education funding, but claimed to support education---this was back in the 80's and yes I am that old......

He claimed to have invented the internet! Yikes....that was him?! another 2 faced comment....

He uses more electricity in one month than the average TN family uses in a year!

I do not believe anything that comes from this man and haven't since somewhere in the 80's.....TN his home state did not support him in his presidential bid, because if he was to be a president like he had been a senator that just scared us!
Peace.

Yes totally! A few months ago it was on the news that the total cost of his electric bill for 2006 was somewhere around $30,000. Hello?!?! Why doesn't he make some changes around his house? It's only him and his wife there. And, you know they aren't there the whole year so why so much? He wants everyone to change their lives but he doesn't seem to want to change his life. He's just pathetic and still obviously a sore loser because he didn't become president. Get over it!

There is the link below about his high bill.

How much fuel did it take for him to fly to Hollywood, how many of you live in a home that used as much electricity as 10 homes, but had the audacity to say "it's all your fault" give up your car, live in a cave.

No, but the question is just a bald invitation to ad hominem attacks.

Ask yourself if the person who claimed to have "invented the Internet" during the Presidential debates, can be trusted or "for real"? I think he jumped on a bandwagon and is just as likely to jump off if the evidence and theories change.

NO! hes somebody who's actually trying to educate ignorant people about the reality of global warming and climate changes.....at least he's doing something helpful for the world, unlike Bush who can't even do anything helpful for his country. (i.e. WHAT ABOUT NEW ORLEANS!?)

Yes.

Anyone who will use a private jet to travel coast to coast just to give a speech on saving fuel is a hypocrite at best.
