Lately I have been drinking 2 liters of soda in one day. Am I going to regret doing this? I am skinny and athletic so I am in no worry of becoming obese.

Yes... you will regret it. Just because you are skinny and athletic doesn't mean you can't get diabetes or kidney stones. That much sugar isn't good for anybody. Not to mention what it can do to your teeth and bones. The carbonation in soda has been shown to decalcify your bones, making them break easier and heal slower. Drink water. It's the best thing for you. If you need a little caffiene, try making some iced tea and don't add sugar or you'll have the same problem. Try an orange pekoe/pekoe cut black tea. It's naturally sweet.

I would advise against drinking that much soda because it contains a high amount of sugar. One can of soda has about 15 t of sugar. I would try water or find a drink you like that is low in caffeine and sugar, but nothing with a lot of artificial ingredients. When drinking excessive amounts of soda one needs to watch out for Type II Diabetes. Plus it's really bad for your teeth because it eats away the enamel which protects your teeth from cavities. Protect your health while you are young. "An ounce of prevention is always better than a pound of cure." Take care.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.ezunderstand.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

There really isn't anything healthy in it at all. I don't know how harmfull it is at this point, however its definitely not considered good for you. What happens if later on, 1 turns into 2? Thats a lot of unhealthy calories, sodium and sugar. You might find out later on that you aren't as athletic as you were when you began on your 2 liter a day drinking binge.

Well I can tell you this. It will eat your teeth up. Under all of my pretty white caps is a major mess and my dentist told me that Pepsi ate the outer layer of my teeth right off. While you might not ever guess by looking at me, my natural teeth are really in bad shape and hurt alot and are loose and I am only 31. I have always brushed 2 times daily and not even that helped.

My doctor also suspects that this is also the reason I have an ulcer at the opening of my stomach. Also worth mentioning, my last glucose test in a routine testing turned up high for the first time in my life, no family history of Diabetes.

Too much sugar is bad for your teeth because it causes cavities.
Soda contains caffeine and that's addicting.

There's no nutrition in it. The sugar is very bad for your teeth.

Why not have something more nutritious, you might become less skinny and a better athlete. Eat fruit when thirsty.
