I have a slim build, I dont eat a lot and I play sports twice a week but I've noticed that I have cellulite on the side of my thighs near my behind--the most common place women get them.

The sport that I'm into requires a lot of running so that's my cardio workout. I'm not into any diets as well. Does the fact that i'm a year shy of 30 have anything to do with it?

cellulite is usually caused by yo-yo dieting, depriving your body and eating non-organic food.
what helps is a lot of walking, climbing stairs, swimming etc.
cardio is the only exercise that burns fat and thats what cellulite is - fat cells. do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min and combine with light weight training to not lose any muscle (more muscle=faster metabolism)

well as a heath nut the answer any one can give you would be to work out that area that has the excess.but just because you work out the area does not mean you safe.your cellulite can turn into streatch marks when you do the designated worouts.so in conjuction with the the workout use a topical soulution that your doctor can precribe to you or www.webmd.com dont expect to see results in one day; give it a month and you should see a significance,thank you.
ps. cardio will boost your results faster.

BIKING! biking always gets rid of cellulite! biking and rollerblading. it really helps.
