I personally think the world is older than 6000 years However I am glad there a places where people are allowed to present alternative theories. Think of it this way if they are bad theories then they should easily be disprovable and therefore detrimental to their own agenda. I think David M's argument is mute. No doubt they could have used the money for feeding poor and charities, but then i don't see anyone criticizing any of the other museums that no doubt spent more money on their museums. So then is it because you don't agree with their view point? They are not spending tax payers money but the money they raised themselves. In fact we could argue that many institutions and buildings could have used the money for charities but they don't get criticized for it. Such as sports facilities, amusement parks etc. But it seems when Christians do something that people don't agree with they find new compassion for the poor.

I'm actually pretty excited about it.
It's been a huge debate for a long time, and having something tangible to learn about the creationist viewpoint could answer a few questions that I have about both sides of the argument.
Given National Geographic's broad exposure, and their hiding their apologies for evolutionary mistakes,
it'll be an interesting vacation for us this summer.
