warming. I hate cold. I can't wait until my home becomes a tropical climate!

I don't think we can choose that easily. Global warming is supposed to be responsible for more erratic and severe weather, not particularly hotter days. But if the choice you're asking is: Would I prefer another ICE AGE, or sweltering summers, then I would have to choose the warming. I think for your choices to be valid would require the orbit of the Earth to suddenly move closer to the Sun for the toasty, and farther away from the Sun for the frigid. Global warming is just too complicated to single out a cold or hot choice.

If there was absolutely no choice in the matter then I'd go for warming.
A few years ago I did a detailed study into the positive and negative aspects of both warming and cooling - both are bad but cooling would ultimately cause more problems than warming.

just a few decades ago, scientists were actually bebating whether the overly produced c02 will cause warming or cooling, but now we already see it is happening right in front of us
neither is good for us, north pole is melting, so some islands may be sinked by water in the future, and agricultural pests can also grow a lot, etc. if the weather gets too cold, people will get depressed easily, and more people will be starving, etc

dont be too sure about growing plants ,
1 degrees rise in temperature means 10% croploss ,
And the biggest future problem is gonna be potable water ,
what would you choose if you had too ,water for growing food
or water to save peoples lives ,And if the people live they must eat.
Farming uses 70% of a countries water supplies ,they are now stealing from the city reservoirs .
Food does not grow in desserts or with out water
so we´re in the s*it either way.
And it looks like we will get both anyway

Geological studies show that our current climate is a brief warm respite in a period of regularly occurring ice ages, the question is really moot, what we do may delay an overdue ice age, but in the long run, we're gonna chill. So enjoy the warmth while you can.
PS I prefer it warm too!

people relatively think of too noticeably of themselves in the event that they anticipate that they have any important result on international temperature. Earth very own a spectacular thermostat stated as water to maintain temperatures of their place relatively suitable. Water expends thermal potential in chilly temperatures and would soak up a lot of thermal potential in heat toasty temperatures. relatively a hotter climate would desire to do no harm. it would launch carbon interior the sea for the respiration cycles of countless organisms. it would reason the oceans to evaporate too an quantity coming up a greater tropical international climate of greater balanced temperatures. Regardless as suggested until now climate fluctuates on a cycle it is going to never get too warm or too chilly globally it relatively is. the theory of "catastrophic international warming" or international cooling is ludicrous.

yes i concur ,in the past the earth experienced a warm period that lasted 3000 years where temps were much warmer than today. there was more green house gas than today and the polar bears r here today, they seem to have got by OK. the period is known by climatology as the Holocene maximum.the penguins didn't seem to mind either.i hate winter too.how did we have more greenhouse gases then than now? maybe volcanic activity ...

Cooling, because the ice wouldn't be super-fast, it would come slowly, a lot more slowly than the heat melts the ice now.
So yeah, it's more gradual if it's cooling, it'd be easier to control.

Since this is a hypothetical question...I hypothetically would prefer global cooling. I HATE hot weather and especially sweating, ick! I love wearing winter fashion, am not opposed to wearing fur for survival, and I eat what I kill. Raw seals, whale blubber, whatever, bring it on. Snow shoeing is great exercise too I hear:)

Wat?! Global cooling is definitely a no-no! I mean, we can't even survive in extremely cold weather, or in this case, cool. Food supplies will be scarce, due to the harsh weather that is obviously not suitable for planting! If there's global cooling, i dun think windbreaker or bonfire can provide us sufficient warmth against the harsh, cold weather.
