If you believe that Cain existed, then you must believe God created Adam and Eve. Do you really think that God created humankind with dangerous mutations and then said it was very good? Obviously, God would have created humans without genetic flaw, and mutations would have occurred in subsequent generations after the fall. So it would have been safe to marry close relatives, but many generations later, when Moses came down from the mountain there would be more mutations built up in the population, thus marrying a close relative would make the likelihood of passing two deleterious genes onto your offspring. Incest was ruled against in Moses' day.
By the way, for whoever said that there were three people left on the planet, it says in the Bible that they had and son named Seth and Adam and Eve had other sons and DAUGHTERS. Read it before you assume that you know the story.

The Bible neither says Cain married one of his sisters or that God put other people else where to be with Adam and Eve's children. Where did the Egyptians all of a sudden come from? There are things that had happened in the early times that aren't mentioned in the Bible because it's not that important for us to know. God had the things in Bible written down for particular reasons, things that He wanted us to know, things that are needed to know for what His plan of Salvation for our souls is. If it's not in the Bible doesn't mean it didn't happen, if it's not in the Bible it's just not that important to know compared to other things.
If Cain and Seth married their sisters and had children, oh well. Maybe God allowed them to have healthy children and God took special care of a few generations to make sure all was fine. We don't know. Or maybe God put other people elsewhere and Cain and Seth married them. Who knows. You will find out when God wants you to know. Until then, who Cain and Seth married and had children with doesn't matter. What matters is that God exists and for hundreds and hundreds of generations His word has been passed on and still prevails.

Everything has to have a beginning. That is why we have a version 1, then a version 1:1, 1:2 etc, because we keeping making improvement. When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, he forbid ed this practice.
When you talk of human intelligence you take God out of the equation. It was God that created human intelligence by allow men to discover and build on his creation. Clearly there are enough people in the world that incest should not be done

Cain, after killing Able went to the land of Nod, where he married. Who/what did he marry? The answer is an evolved "being" that was compatible with Cain enough to have kids. There were NO sisters and only three people left alive on earth, Adam, Eve and Cain and Cain took off. Pops
Addition: DawnL, you best learn the Bible before you speak out of turn. When Cain killed Able there were FOUR living people on earth. AFTER Cain Killed Able, there were ONLY THREE people living on earth. Of course, LATER, Adam and Eve had other kids.

To my knowledge, there has never been anything that said Cain married his sister. The existance of the woman he married was never explained in the Bible. Here's another possible take for you although I am not trying to make it as a factual statement. In the Bible, it is said that God made Adam...then Eve. It does not say that He never made anyone else.

God didnt introduce the laws and the problems with incest until the earth was suitably populated and then they didnt have to marry there direct family anymore. Different times which God had a different plan for.

It was back when humans were near perfection, so physical defects from inbreeding weren't an issue. By the time of the law of Moses, God forbid incest.

if u believe in the bible as the ultimate truth, then all humankind is descended from adam and eve. HELLO! all their descendants that followed had to practice incest. moreover, during the Great Flood, only Noah and his family survived. incest again...and they say this book is what people justify their MORALS by.

You mean the parable of Cain and Able? Do you think the Bible tells stories of people long dead or that the Bible tells stories about the church which is relevant to everyone living today?
