My computer recently crashed, so I restarted the system from scratch... and lately its been running slowly. Websites take longer to load than usual, sometimes links (such as 'reply' links on forums or 'add to favorites' on deviantart) don't work at all... I click them several times and nothing happens.
Even when I'm only operating MS word, or Photoshop, or even MS Paint, the programs run slowly. I've run spybot search and destroy, ad-aware, and my avast antivirus scanner... the spybot thing found two files that couldn't be repaired or deleted, but everything else comes up clean. What could be wrong with my computer, and how can I fix it? Help please!!

The symptoms you describe are hallmarks of a spyware infections and probably viruses and trojans. Try reading this site:

I would suggest you immediately update your antivirus and antispyware and do a full system scan in order to remove them. Else if your antivirus and antispyware are old you should replace them immdeiately. there are a lot of free software out there like AVG, Avast, Spybot.

Check them out and try backing up your important files ASAP.
