Do you think it could just be your migraines are worsening? Migraines do usually concentrate on one side of the head. Just a thought since they can change in intensity or behavior. My migraines can be brought on by heat, so try cooling down your bedroom and using fewer covers. See if that helps. Maybe a food is triggering them. Is there something new you've added to your diet? Have you changed your eating habits at all - not eating enough can bring on headaches as well. Any new perfumes, fragranced detergent, air freshener, cat litter (fragranced) if you have a cat, shampoo, shower gel, anything? Smell is a big trigger for me, so if it is for you, it's something to look into. New pillows that maybe are too high or too low so your neck is at a weird angle? That stress on the muscles can bring on a headache. At this point, though, I might really suggest just going ahead with a doctor's appointment especially if the pain is worse than normal. The general rule of thumb is to go to a doctor if a symptom lasts more than two weeks, isn't it? So, you're there. Good luck. I know how miserable a constant headache can be.

That spot is a common spot for a few issues... it could be stress, it could be your tm joint (your jaw). If your bite is even a little off the tm joint won't properbly relax and it will travel into you neck and base of your skull. First try neck stretches and moist heat (a hot washcloth as hot as you can stand it - on for 10 minutes off for 10 - 3 times a day). The stretch to get that particular muscle is called a chin tuck. It's just what it sounds like. Lay on your bed (no pillow) and slowly bring your chin towards your chest 10 times, rest for 30 seconds and do it again. Follow that with 5 deep breaths (in through your nose and out through your mouth). Do this routine prior to bed for a couple weeks and you should see improvement. During this time sleep on your back. If it still bothers you try a chiropractor (a doctor will tell you do to what I just told you). Find one with a massage therapist on staff so you can have that area massaged at each visit.

We have treated 15 - 20 yrs cases.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic. Pain killers cause side effects like failure of liver/stomach/kidneys etc.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
Search a painful point 3 - 6 mm behind your thumb nail. Press it with courage or ask yr friend to press; H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

If its a stress headache you can get rid of it by relaxing more, meditating, and eating more fruits and vegetables. it could be from not drinking enough water. That is a common cause of headaches. Try drinking more water. If those two things don't help go an see your pcp and request to have an mri and cat scan done of your neck, back, and head.
