There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Hi I am fighting them too & can offer two suggestions that have worked for me:
1) Strivectin (I think that is how it is spelled) For Dark Circles. I believe the active ingredient is Hylexin. This is a bit pricey, and can be found in most major department stores.
2) Avon's Eye Force. It says it is for wrinkles, but I have used it for years to help minimize the circles when I am dehydrated, crying, tired, etc.
I highly recommend them both and hope this is helpful to you.
Drinks lots of water too!!! It will help more than you know!
Be Well,
Mica

Murad's lighten and brighten eye treatment. I used to use yellow concealer under my eyes to cover up the dark circles; after i used the tube i could stop using concealer. it contains 1.5% hydroquinone; a skin lightener. use day and night; top with an eye cream with SPF 8 or more when using in the day time. it costs $75. check murad.com.

Vitamin K solution for dark circles. U can buy it at any drugstores for $12.00. Just use it twice daily and ur dark circles will gradually disappear. dark circles are due to broken artillaris and Vit. K is an effective cure for damaged or broken artillaris. Just be patient.

okay, as for COVERING whatever dark circles you have i HIGHLY recommend BareMinerals makeup line. it covers EVERYTHING sooo well & doesn't even look like you're wearing makeup. you can put on jsut about as much as your want & it won't look cakey or crease. it makes you look like you have perfect skin like a model seriously!
