I do not know any real Christian that has not read the Bible. No not just read the Bible but studied it and meditated on it. Where did you hear that we do not read the Bible?

I have read the New Testament fully when I was 9. It was one of those little leather bound ones that the Gideons hand out. I was Catholic back then, and at that time, it was the only Bible I could get my hands on. Because Catholics don't actually delve into God's Word. I'm sure there are exceptions. When I was 19, someone shared with me what it means to be saved. Thankfully I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I got my own Bible. I've read through it. I was a baby believer when I read through it the first time, as in there was so much I didn't understand. Especially in the Old Testament. I'm reading through it again. I've been a believer for 10 years now, and it's more fascinating than ever, because I understand so much more now. I still have a long way to go though. The more you learn about something, the better you understand it. The more I study God's Word, greater understanding is granted to me. I love God, and want to serve Him, and that desire only increases the more I understand what He has told us. He didn't give us the Bible so it could collect dust on a shelf, He gave us the Bible so we could know things He wants us to know.

I personally read at least 5+ chapters a day, plus I read parts of the Bible that may relate to a particular subject related to my life or any question that I have. I depend on the Bible for EVERYTHING in my life. I have red the Bible through completely at least 5 times and continue. I ALWAYS see 'something' New in the Bible Every time I read it.

Be at Peace. May God give you His Grace.

Take Care and God Bless!

I've read it. All the way through. But to ask if we 'read the Bible fully' is like asking if we understood all of everything in it. I don't think that anyone can say that, there are too many mysteries that are there. God waits to reveal certain things, as in the Dispensational view concerning the End Times.

But you have a point with those of us who haven't read it all. I would also say that they need to. Because with the familiarity we establish by doing so, we gain much in understanding on how God thinks. What His opinion on things is.

God has graciously made it possible for me to remember much of the Bible that I have read so that I either know the verse necessary to answer a question or I know what it says even if I don't know the exact chapter and verse.

This has been a powerful tool when reaching out to others with the gospel. I have been reading and studying the Bible for over 33 years and always discovering new things.

I have read it through a number of times. If you say you saw Christians that said they have never read the Bible then you were not seeing a Christian. They may call themselves that but it is pretty much impossible unless they have listened to an audio version or had someone read it to them.

I read the Bible all the way through once a year. This may seem like a daunting task but it's really not. All a person has to do is read 4 chapters a day. If you read one chapter in the morning, one at lunch, one at dinner and one before bed you'll read it all the way through in a little less then a year.

I read the Bible everyday and study Bible based articles provided by my Christian society. Firstly, Jehovah God gave us the Bible to learn His special messages, prophecies, exemplary figures, and if we don't look into all these, how are we to know what He wants and what He doesn't want us to do to gain back the life we have lost?

Listening to your mom or dad about the Bible truths is good but wouldn't it be better for you to find out the Truth yourself instead of just listening? When people tell you about the Bible, they usually tell you about the New Testament, but what about the Old Testament? If it were not important, why did God give it to us? If we read both the Old and New Testaments, we would find many connections between the two, especially when prophets of old foretold of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ.

It is good to acknowledge Jesus but it is even better to learn about the One who sent him and why he was chosen of all the myriads of angels that Jehovah has, to come down to earth to sacrifice his earthly life for us so that we could gain back the life we lost through Adam.

Don't listen blindly, Jehovah wants us to search for Him, learn about Him and draw close to Him.
