I don't think there is anything particularly wrong about it. Girls develop a whole lot faster these days and mature before boys. But I'd at least wait until she's 17.

No, I wouldn't say you're like the Dateline jerks. I mean they are going to their homes intentionally to do sexual acts. No if ands or buts. If you were older, 5 yrs. really isn't that big of a difference in age. People get married w/20 yrs. difference in ages. Also, this girl could be one who looks much older too, a lot of younger girls now days do not look their ages. To be honest, at this point in time, see if you can just let this girl go & see if you can get interested in an older girl. You certainally don't want to get in trouble #1, & #2, let her be able to date kids her own age & be able to grow up some. She's young & has a lot of yrs. ahead of her & even a few yrs. left of high school. You've already been there & had your chances of dating when you were her age. But to ans. your question, NO, if you do NOT have the "wrong" intentions, I wouldn't consider you a creep. Those guys are disgusting! And the rediculous stories they come up w/are the pits! They are people who really have problems. I feel sorry for the ones who are married & hurt their wives because of their sicknesses!

Just a year or 2 until she is legal. 5 years isn't a huge age gap. Believe me, we've all seen worse.
I don't think you're a creep. The people you see on dateline are perverts. 16 is an iffy age because maturity becomes a factor. I personally would not pursue the relationship. If you like her enough, you could wait for her to mature.

It's only 5 years apart. Back in the "old days" this was the norm. If you honestly have feelings for her, then no, you are not a creep. As for the intercourse, yes, you can go to jail b/c she is a minor. If you really like her, you would wait. BUT, to be honest, someone at that age gas a lot of growing up to do. Just consider that when you start thinking future..

A creep? Well, I think you're going to get a lot of "yes!" answers on here. I won't judge.
However, I think you already know that this is wrong, simply because of her age. You need to let her go and find a girl who is at least 18. Even if the statutory rape laws allow you to be with a 16 year old, it still spells trouble.

I wouldn't say it makes you a creep, however, messing with a girl when there is that huge of an age difference...you are just asking for trouble.
Find a girl your own age, then when this chick turns 18 - see if there is still something there, but I would suggest that you move on.

It's not wrong, but I would advise you to stay away from her- her parents will probably think you're a creep. Wait until she's 18 and if you still like her then, well ask her out. But right now, no. You probably won't ever see her again anyway.

No it doesn't make you a creep, there was something like a 10+year difference in my grandparents when they got married. And my grandmother was only 13 when she was married. back then it was OK. But know if something like that happens you will go to jail. If you like her and she likes you just wait until she turns 18. Just don't do anything with her, or go off by yourselves.

In a way it does, you should be able to find a girl that's your age that you like. You two are on very different stages in your life. She's still in high school and you are legally able to do anything as an adult. I think you will be happier (and face alot less drama) if you found a girl who can enjoy everything that you do because, at her age, the activities that you can share are severely limited

Nothing is wrong with you liking a girl 16, but you are 21 years old and you need to stay in your lane and find someone else who is your age....
