A very unusual form of protest. I agree with the message, but if he wanted to get rid of all his books I would've been glad to take them.
What does everybody else think?

Ya know, I read about that too...I think he's a moron. He's such a book lover, and wants to spread the message of reading; what good's burning all those books going to do? He should have packaged them, sent them to orphanages, schools, libraries, Africa for God's sake. People, including you or I, could have gotten use out of them; I also read that he had quite the collection... *sighs*...i think the old musty book smell must have gotten to his head...

He reminds me of a book-burning by a repressive government. His message is good, but his his way of getting it out is wrong and contradictory.

he's right. they're just as well being burned p.s. i cringe everday at everything. one has to wonder
