Assuming that a higher calorie intake is not working because your body either burns it all up or simply eliminates the extra calories by overworking the elimination sytem means that you may have to resort to the gymn and do weight lifting or other body building exercises. The gymn instructors can probably help you in this regard. Incidentally, have you ever seen a lean and underweight weight lifter? I don't think they exist except beginners with the same problems as yourself.

There is another very dangerous method that is not recommended but it does seem to work if you don't care about the possible long term after effects or consequences such as possible or even likely cancer and that is the method that some bodybuilders and athletes use and that is anabolic steroids. Better to forget about that one and concentrate on the gymn.

The dumb unhealthy answer is fast food and television. I know from experience that's the quickest way to gain weight. T.V. makes you forget how much your eating. You look down and you suddenly realise you just finished a half gallon of Rocky Road ice cream by yourself. You could look up "Sumo wrestler's diet" on the Internet that should give you some constructive answers. Although, Sumo's have fat on top of solid muscle. That's why they don't tend to die from heart failure in the ring.

Work out with weights to build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat- it also looks a lot better. Check your local vitamin store for any high calorie nutritional powder that can be mixed with milk to help gain weight.

Eat, eat, eat, then bust your butt to turn that food into muscle/weight, its a classic, how you think they did it in the caveman era, they were walkin the forests all day hunting and gathering supplies and building stuff. By the way this is probably a crappy answer so, yeah, I thought I would throw in a few cents. BAM!!

Eat "High Calorie Foods" and remain in a regular life style, but if that involes working out then I suggest you cut back on it.
