My daughter got gum in her hair, and instead of telling me about it, she ripped her hair out! and now she has a quarter sized bald spot of the top of her head! She is 8 years old and is now crying because she worries about what the kids at school will say about her hair. What can I do to help her??

Either pull it into a pontytail or grab hair from other spots on her head and clip it over with a cute barret! No one will notice. :)

my daughter had the same problem. we started to braid her hair and curled it up on top. if it is not long enough to braid, then, use a hair clip to clip her hair over the bald spot.

1] part hair in a different place
2] pull top back and fasten with barette
3] pull into ponytail
4] pull back and braid
5] make 'mini ponies' on top of her head [ 2 or 3 ] and fasten with fun clips or cute barettes

maybe you can part it on the side and cover it up? if you comb it in that direction when you're blowing it dry it'll stay better
