Dogs get sick just like people get sick. Your dog may just have a tummy ache. Some people medicines are ok for dogs too! Like if your pup has an allergic reaction you could give him benodryl. Since your pup is barfing see if you can get him to lick some Pepto Bismol off a spoon. Only a teaspoon since he's only ten pounds. Also, heat is good for the tummy, if you have a heating pad, put it where he lays. See if you can get him to lay on it. (Low setting) Good luck and I hope he feels better. I have two dogs and it's no fun when they are sick!

Probably not - just make sure he is comfortable - that you clean it up asap or he will eat it making things worse - and that he has fresh water close to him. You can try a small amount of brown rice, (same things you would do for humans) applesauce, (plain without sugars) and maybe a small part of a piece of cold toast. If he's not better by the am go to the vet. Dehydration can kill him - a lot faster than humans.

Take him to the vet right away.

If there is nothing wrong with him, feed him plain white rice mixed with some cottage cheese for a couple of days. This is a bland food that is easy on their stomachs, and will give them the carbs and protein they need. Be sure not to feed him too much at once, though. :)

Get him in to the vet immediately. Small dogs can go downhill very quickly with vomiting and due to their size, are in danger of dehydration and seizures from low blood sugar when they are vomiting frequently.

He could have ingested poison, have an intestinal obstruction, or have contracted a dangerous disease or infection. Waiting until the vet opens tomorrow may save you a few dollars, but you may also lose your pet.

Take away his food and make sure he drinks plenty of water if it doesn't correct itself by tomorrow get him to the vets as little dogs can dehydrate easily.
Not feeding him will not hurt him.

Make sure to keep your dog hydrated, lots and lots of water. I would take him to a vet becaue this sounds serious. Good luck.

Is he vaccinated against parvo? He needs to see a vet soon if he isn't. If he is then you might give him a day to see if it gets better unless another symptom shows up.

What color is it and how long has this been going on?
If it's yellow...bad sign, get him to the vet asap. If it's not, keep an eye on him and if it keeps up get him to the vet asap....it could be he's sick or poisoned.

take him to a local Emergency Vet ASAP!

that's what we had to do w/ our 9 yr. old Beagle (he had a blood transfusion) and our 2 yr. old tabby cat (he had kidney failure and had to be put to sleep). :(

we couldn't just watch them sit there in pain (cat) or bleed to death (dog).

both became sick on a weekend.
