Sugar gliders are found through the tropical north through Western Australia, the Northern Territory and north Queensland and down the east coast and ranges through Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. They are also found in southern South Australia around Mt Gambier. I have them in the trees along the river at the bottom of my garden in northern NSW.
