Past, present & future mistakes - they all haunt me.

Not haunted, but regretful. I've been forgiven of past sins, but some of the consequences still exist. Mostly, I have moved forward in a way that makes up for what I can and don't repeat any of the harmful things in my past. I live in Christ today and have found grace and love and acceptance there. He has made me a better person and continues to help me grow in beautiful ways. Haunted.....no. Forgiven.....yes. Have I made it up to anyone I harmed? I think so. It's not enough to be sorry, but you should also make restitution to anyone you've harmed. This brings healing on both sides.

Yes.

But Galatians 5:24
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

Instead, we can have solace in knowing that grief and mourning are accepted by God. Matthew 5 and James 4.

Also, there's no point imagining up a redemptive scenario. Isaiah 65 shows that God disapproves. So does Jude 8.

It's touted as being a "creative" ability, but it's not.

I made mistake but I don't let them haunt me. They happened, I can't change that but I can decide how I want to live now. You can't let the past get in the way of your future.

No. My mistakes have made me who I am. I repented of the sins that I committed and try every day to live a better life than the day before. I learned from my mistakes, and I try to pass on what I learned to others that I see headed down the paths that I already travelled.

Anytime my past mistakes come back to haunt me, I whack them with a giant hammer. Its a great daily workout.

Yes. Unfortunately, I tend to replay past mistakes (and present ones) over and over in my mind, resulting in humiliation and embarrassment. I don't know how to make it stop. I'm still kicking myself for mistakes I made in early childhood. I find that it's extremely hard to forgive myself sometimes.

With somethings.
I think about the possibilities over the actions.
In some cases, I should have said nothing.
In some cases, I should have spoken out.

Sometimes I wish I could erase my memory.
I don't care for my past actions, but then I think to myself
What are my possibilities?

Isn't everybody? How we come to terms with our mistakes is what matters. Punishing yourself only makes it worse. Letting go of the past and moving forward with hope can make you feel good. I hope this statement makes you feel good!
