Maybe because you just met, and he is not sure if he likes you or not, so he is treating you just like any other acquaintance -- least you get the wrong idea and think that he really likes you, just to get let down later. Just because you gave him your number at the club doesn't mean that you are engaged yet.
Maybe he has other friends and other things scheduled before he met you.
Maybe he doesn't want to seem like a desperate loser who has nothing else to do but call you.
Guys have a problem thinking of what to say, so we don't like to talk on the phone.
Maybe he is out with some other girl (Ha! You were waiting for me to say that, now weren't you?).

I'm wondering the same thing. I don't want a RELATIONSHIP either but it would be nice to know if it was just a one-night stand or if he's remotely interested in meeting for drinks or something ANY TIME in the future.

Why does EVERYTHING have to be a friggin' "relationship" with you women? Maybe that's why the dude didn't call, he's trying to avoid a "RELATIONSHIP"!
