I heard years ago, that the Ark of the Covenant was found which was a very hush, hush topic. However, if so, aren't the Jewish people supposed to be building their temple? Where is the proof?

Even if it was found, the only person who can re-build the Temple is Moshiach. So we're not re-building the Temple. Besides, there's a mosque on top of our Temple.

The Ark of the Covenant is in all likely hood has not been found, what is being investigated is an area that has evidence of a Jewish presence around the time of Moses in Saudi Arabia, possibly leading to the real location of Mount Sinai.

no longer having the ark did no longer provide up the construction of the 2nd Temple. The ark might or no longer have been got here across, relies upon on who you refer to. Scripture states Messiah is to construct the third Temple in Jerusalem, so numbering an Egyptian Temple does not count sort. Scripture does not state the ark might desire to be latest in the third Temple

Supposedly, it's in a secure shrine in Ethiopia. How it GOT to Ethiopia is anyone's guess. It has something to do with the story of the Queen of Sheba and her sneaking it out of King David's abode in the dead of night and spiriting it across the desert to Ethiopia. Frankly, I think the Ethiopians are pulling everybody's gullible leg.

I think you mean Noah's Ark don't you? They believe they found it on satellite but have not been able to personally verify due to the communist government there not allowing people in.

The Ark of the Covenant was hidden years ago by the Jewish priests to keep their enemies from taking it and hasn't been found yet! The special promises to the Jewish nation are no longer applicable because they rejected and crucified the Messiah - Jesus Christ because He didn't fit their idea of the Messiah. Now all Christians are spiritual Israel and we are God's special people to take the good news of salvation to the whole world...

Its not happening yet, it will be big news when it does finally start. The Ark is said to be in a secret chamber under the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and they know exactly where it is, but they have not been given permission to dig their way in yet.
