im eager to buy windows vista cuz xp's dead to me but my bro got a computer package that he gets a free windows vista disk if he brings his computer into the place he got it from. what im tying to say if he installs it on his computer would it work with mine

Yes it will, Windows Software will work with any Windows compatible computer.

in case you have have been given XP on that pc have faith me save it on there. Why on earth would you prefer Vista on there, i know that's greater moderen in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's truthfully not greater powerful. I had vista on my pc for a on an analogous time as and it replaced into painful, thank god for domicile windows 7. If it relatively is a decision between XP and Vista you would be out of your ideas to prefer vista on that pc.

No, Vista is a one computer OS, you "have" to register it or it go dead on you (Best way I can explain). It actually analyzes about 3-5 components of the Registered Computer to know "What's really going on"!
I just wait for feed back when someone changes a MOBO or Hard Drive, see what they go through for the change.

If you're buyinf VISTA on a cd-rom then yes you can use the CD multiple times. Vista is a weak program though and i wouldn't get it if i were you.
