Give my second daughter to my mother to raise because I could not afford both children and my husband was ... irresponsible, then to stay out of her life as my mother raised her because that is what my mother wanted and it was better for the child involved than to fight and create stress in her life.

Most people condemn a person for surrendering a child without even thinking about the real story. I hate that. It hurts every day, so damn much you try and not think about it so that you can just get through the day, be strong, and be ready for her when she comes.

Give mouth to mouth on my barbers father who had a heart attack. He had thrown up. It was the toughest thing I ever did and it was before we had or used bio mouth shields. He did not survive because he had aspirated vomit and when ambulance got there, they couldn't get an airway with a tube.
