It can't be a religion because spiritualism varies far too much from person to person. A religion is a set way of life, and worship of, with a common structure, for the benefit of a deity.

Spirituality is a way of life. For me I read my Bible as much as daily as possible and fellowship with God every day,Thanking Him for what He has already done and praising Him for what He is... a Loving God,Awesome in every detail. Religion in my opinion makes God out to be a mad dictator instead of the Loving caring God He truly is. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

If you're referring to the Spiritualist denomination, then yes, it's a recognized religion, which would explain the existence of the many Spiritualist churches out there.

If you actually meant "spirituality", that's a different matter altogether.

"We are all part of the One Spirit. When you experience the true meaning of religion, which is to know God, you will realize that He is your Self, and that He exists equally and impartially in all beings."
