Not unless you want to commit a crime and download pirated software, but if you do that and get caught you'll get into trouble and you wont be able to download any impartant windows updates.
But that is beside the point, you don't even want to buy vista, as many people who have bought it and upgraded their computer have had nothing but problems, with it, as their PC is unable to handle it. If your PC is over a year old, you have no reason to be messing with vista, as it wont play nice with your computer.

Sorry, no way. It took a lot of computer experts to write the program. Their salaries had to be paid. When we buy the program, we are in effect reimbursing MS for the cost of development.

The legal way to upgrading to Vista is by buying it. If you have a friend who has the OS on a CD, mayeb you can borrow it from them and install it on your computer...but that isn't legal. I wouldn't recommend using any file sharing programs like LimeWire because they bring in a LOT of viruses when you download software from it.
I would like to have Windows Vista but it's really expensive, and in any case I didn't back up all my documents and it would be really bad to lose them...

In the news recently there is a new hack that targets problems with windows vistas security. You are able to get vista ultimate and put it on your computer, you will be able to get up-grades, but your computer will think it is a dell.
I will not tell you were to get this as it is illegial, and I dont recommend doing it, I am in no way responsible if you do decide to go and get his illegial copy of vista, I am only providing you with information that this type of crack does exist and it is possible to install and get upgrades.
This does not violatte the yahoo community guidelines.

Nope. And if you get an el cheapo from someone. expect two things:
1) a very good chance of a new life style in a jail;
2) a Vista that won't work good.
