Good question...what the wife and I usually do is take the watermelon and cut it in half and scoop it out with an ice cream scoop so you have round balls of watermelon and we pour the juice inside a boul with the watermelon and stick it in the fridge and it lasts a long time.

Either cut from the rind & store in a sealable container or wrap half in saran wrap & set on a layer of newspaper in the bottom of the fridge. It will keep for a few days either way.

As mentioned, cover it with plastic wrap or put pieces in sealed containers to prevent the automatic defrost action from drying it out.

Just cover the exposed part in plastic wrap. That's what I do and it stays fresh for a pretty long time.

Wrap it in aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Or keep it in an air tight container, but I wouldn't recommend this since it might get a weird taste.

Cover it in plastic wrap. Or you could cut it up, and store it in a tupperware type container. Thats what I usually do.

well the best way is to chop it up into smaller pieces and store it in a tupple ware container, but wrapping it in foil works well as well.
