Yes, the meaning should be making ourselves ready for eternity with our Creator.

I feel there IS a meaning, but that there undoubtedly does not HAVE to be one... Our search for reasons behind this wild adventure of Life has perhaps in part to do with the logical, thinking side of our brain needing to find a way to play the game.. The intuitive side feels the game and the logical side thinks it... The intuitive side feels the touch of snow; the logical side wonders what, how, if, why.....

There IS a meaning and I pray you find what yours is before you negatively influence some person who is honestly searching!
You were designed and made for what you can do for others. To be a part of the "building crew" and to make the "wrecking crew" look unappealing. We are made to be part of the corporate body of Christ and to being Paradise back to Earth, and to STOP with the "me" syndrome.

NO - the only meaning to life is that life has meaning. Asking if there is a meaning to life is not an askable question.
Let's pretend for a minute that a god does exist - wouldn't it be a sick joke to create an intelligent people and not tell them why they were created in the first place?

You should have a meaning for your life otherwise you will be empty and will always be wondering in so many directions. Meaning gives you the power to overcome every road block you may find along the way.

I have long suspected that there is no real meaning to our physical existence. The forces of nature do not care whether we live or die. That may well be the very reason religion was invented -- to provide an imaginary meaning to our apparently useless and irrelevent lives.

11 For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so,...., righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.
12 Wherefore, it must needs have been created for a thing of naught; wherefore there would have been no purpose in the end of its creation. Wherefore, this thing must needs destroy the wisdom of God and his eternal purposes, and also the power, and the mercy, and the justice of God.
13 And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not there is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.

Because God created life to have meaning. The meaning of life is to serve God and I like to believe to leave a legacy behind for others to follow in Christ's footsteps.

There IS a meaning to life, and all the answers are in the Bible. If you blow it in this life and live it as you wish without Christ in your life, the eternal one awaiting you will not be pleasant.

I dont think there is. Everyone goes around searching for this 'meaning' but they never find it. People are never pleased.
Personally, Jesus Christ is my meaning in life and my goal is to make it to Heaven.
