I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee Laredo, and it has 166,000 miles and still going. I have heard they go 200,000 and beyond. I think that is a very good price i bought mine for 3600 when it had 160,000 on it. If i were you i would buy it.

You can not adjust the timing on a jeep cherokee is the main reason I would not have one! You might be looking at a new timing belt soon, I would ask my friend when he had one put in it last, if he hasn't don't buy it, unless you really like it and don't mind paying to have it repaired. Also the wiring harness to the power controls in the drivers door bend to the breaking point over time, if the door controls don't work that is why!

Check the Kelly blue book value on it and see what it is worth. Jeeps are strong vehicles. They go forever.
