I was just wondering if I wrote these sentences correctly.

1. El sábado pasado, fui a la confitería y compré dulces.
2. El lunes pasado, fui a la frutería y compré unas naranjas .
3. Ayer, fui a la panadería y compré algún pan.

Thanks a lot!

# 3 - you should NOT use the word "algún"

In Spanish, you write the item without the article to indicate some (singular), and you use "unos" or "unas" if there are several items.

....y compré pan. (... and I bought some bread.)

But your structure, spelling and accents are "to die for." LOL good for you!

1. Correctly written. You said "Last Saturday I went to the candy store and bought candy" (In Spanish it doesn't repetitive)

2. Correctly written. You said "Last Monday I went to the fruit store and bought some oranges."

3. Though it MAY be considered to be correct, it sounds weird. Translated into English it sounds OK (you said "Yesterday, I went to the bread store and bought some bread."), but I'd recommend saying "...compré pan." or "...compré un poco de pan.". Remember that your worse enemy when learning Spanish is English.

Yes, they are correct, but

in the 3) I would say

....y compré pan. (without algún)

They are perfectly written.
You could only modify "algún" by "un".

You cannot say "algun" pan. The rest is OK.
