so basically i need to make a circular angular cut (like a cone shape) in a solid model...

easist way is to just to calculate the angle of the cone then use draft on extrude cut.

You can use draft Or

Make a revolved cut... in sketch mode draw a triangle which has half of the cone profile. One side of the triangle will be along the centerline of the cone and is where you will revolve about.

The nice thing about this method vs drafting is that you can easily define the depth and angles on the sketch

You do it with a "revolved cut" its the 4th item in the "features" menu.

To do a cone, draw a right triangle defining the cross section of half of the cone. The hypotneuse defines the cone surface and one side of the triangle is the axis of rotation. Select the revolved cut feature with the triangle as the profile and the side as the axis.
