I recently got a job as an assitant manager and I'm pretty excited. I'm about to quit my other job but I'm scarred about my new job. I feel that "what if i get fired from the new one and i have already quit my other one, what will i do...."
Aadvice pliz...

The thing that scares me is the comfort zone im leaving from my old job....the new one is pretty fast paced...

You can always find another a job. Don't worry, you obviously are qualified, otherwise they wouldn't of hired you. So relax and enjoy it.

I think you should not be afraid of taking new challenges. If you got the job as an assistant manager it must mean you are manager material. Give it a try. Don't you want to go higher in life? If you have this opportunity take it! Good Luck!

You can easily collect unemployment and you worked for a minimum of 26 weeks over the course of the last 18 months and as long as you were not fired for gross misconduct (i.e., lateness, absence, violence, theft, etc....) But there is a thing as the self-fulfilling prophecy. If you think or believe it will happen. It will happen. I am sure you will be fine and even shock yourself with all those hidden abilities you were never given the opportunity to use before. Give yourself a chance. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Do your best, and don't spend time worrying about getting fired. They wouldn't have hired you for the job if they didn't think you could do it. And if you don't do everything perfectly, don't think you're the only one who ever didn't.

When you are young you worry about each job and your ability to do it. You will find that you can always get it done. Don't worry about it.

If you get fired, you go down to unemployment and sign for unemployment benefits then look for a new job.
