"God" is not a person. God is perfect energy, in and through and as, everything created. Physical objects are concentrated thought, made by all of us, as one, in order to hide from Him. In a sense, God is the rock, but only as a projection of mind, for God knows there is no rock, only His beloved child, and our perfect life together.

In a sense he already has in that he has made promises we find in the Bible. And since God cannot lie, he is bound to keep his word.
