1] portable storage containers under your bed for - out of season clothes, sports equipment, old magazines for reference - stuff you don't need all the time
2] shelf dividers in clothes closet - for hats, handbags, stacks of clothing; hanging or floor shoe racks
3] 'antique' trunk or hope chest - at foot of bed or as side table
4] make oneof your desk drawers a file drawer - save papers you can refer to again or use as future study material; have notebook and graph paper handy, use one section for stationary or grreting cards, etc. If you can't do it with a desk, get a two drawer file cabinet.
5] get an over-the-door hook rack for your towel, robe, jacket
6] put bulky items in colored milk crates

watch some shows on www.hgtv.com or www.tlc.com on organization. First take out everything in your room. pack it like you are moving. Put your bed where you would like it then any large furniture such as a dresser in its place. Now as you open the boxes, with 2 extra boxes or large bags and a marker and mark one donation and one trash, think of how you want your room to look, you could even draw it out. Place anything that doesn't fit this description into either donation or trash. Go through EVERYTHING, including your clothes if they don't fit you or are too out of date or are too raggy, place them into "donation." Now put everything you are keeping away, and when you are done using it, put it back where you got it.
it's hard, I know, I was a disorganized teen girl once also.

OK - 'organize' and 'teen room' seem to be an Oxymoron. *grin* A couple of tips: -CDs - take all CDs out of cases - thow out the plastic (or store them in the loft) and put all CDs in a CD case - you can keep the inserts and other 'packaging' in the same 'folder' in the CD case. -Books - keep the ones you read often on a small book case and store the rest (or give them to the library) -Stuffed animals - keep the ones you love and give the rest to a children's hospital. -Pictures- keep the ones you love and scan the rest to the PC and put on facebook etc. store or throw out the hard copy. General - if you haven't used or looked at something for a while then you probably don't need it - if you must, then store it so you can 'rotate' stuff - otherwise give it away (or sell it on ebay). One additional idea - if you have an mp3 player or iPod - you can burn all your music to the PC, play it on your iPod and then store the original. As long as you don't share the music then it is legal to make a digital copy....

What I would do (im 13 too!!)is find a storage bin and stuff everything in there... THEN to make it look pretty is I would put a colorful blanket or piece of cloth over it and use it as a sitting bench or chair to a desk!!!

hi! chrissy
i also once faced this problem . the simple solution to it is that u can arrange all the things in a way that makes it convenient to find them when required. i keep my school books on a rack in my room . that made it convenient for me to pack my bag for school and my books never got miss-placed
