There's really not much to it. There is a barrel adjuster on the clutch cable down near the bottom of the frame rails in the front. They are covered by a rubber boot to keep them clean and dry. Since it is a simple mechanical system and not hydraulic, adjustment is mostly a matter of where you prefer the friction zone to be. The bike should start to creep forward with the lever about halfway out to its usual fully engaged position. If you have to let the clutch almost all the way out before it engages, it is likely to slip. If it starts to grab almost immediately, it may be too abrupt, causing you to stall it or making it difficult to take off smoothly. If the clutch slips no matter how it's adjusted, you will need a new one. They are pretty easy to replace, though.
